The Up-cycling Exhibition – “From Ordinary to Extraordinary”

Raffles’ Graphic Design, Interior Design and Fashion Design students worked together for the “From Ordinary to Extraordinary” exhibition, redesigning discarded everyday items like chairs, perfume bottles, books and garments in innovative ways.

Curated by Jana Dambekalne, Raffles Graphic Design Programme Coordinator, the exhibition follows the theme of up-cycling to explore creative new ways of bringing value to discarded items. The exhibition aims to promote Design as a way to inspire sustainable living and encourages the visitors to re-think sustainability through the various kinds of exhibits.
